Bacteria, chemistry—or both?

Understand What's in Your Water

Water testing can answer different questions. A bacteriological test looks for indicators of microbial contamination, while chemical testing can identify concerns such as arsenic, nitrate, manganese and other water-quality parameters.

For a broader assessment of drinking-water potability, both bacteriological and appropriate chemical testing may be needed.

Understanding the water is the first step toward determining whether treatment is needed—and, if it is, what approach makes sense.

AREA WATER QUALITY

Check Your Area's Water

See what Air & Water's historical water testing has found in your area.

Nearby wells can have very different water chemistry, so area results are a useful starting point—not a substitute for testing your individual water source.

OUR APPROACH

Understand the Water. Then Treat It.

Good water treatment starts with understanding the problem before choosing the equipment.

Not every water problem requires whole-house treatment, and sometimes existing equipment simply needs service rather than replacement.

Straight answers to the things people ask us most.

Yes. Air & Water serves customers throughout the Cariboo-Chilcotin and surrounding region. Contact us to discuss your location and what you need help with.

Start with the water, not the equipment. Water chemistry, water use, flow requirements and the treatment objective all help determine what approach makes sense. In some cases, testing may be recommended before treatment is selected.
